The last step of the migration, for each of your accounts, is pointing the domain(s) associated with the account to the new platform. For domains that were already using Verio nameservers on the old platform, we have made this change for you as part of the migration process.
For client domains that are registered through another company but are hosted with Verio (via yourwebhosting.com post-migration), please contact your domain registrar and have them point your domains to the following name servers:
- ns1.yourwebhosting.com
- ns2.yourwebhosting.com
Otherwise, when the old platform is taken offline, any websites associated with these domains will also appear to have been taken offline — until the domains have been pointed to the new platform.
Many registrars offer online tools that allow you to update your nameserver information. For more information, visit the verio.com knowledgebase.
Also, be sure to check your DNS zone file — if you have an A record or MX record pointing to an old-platform IP address, you will need to update it to point to the new-platform IP address of 66.96.144.190.
